One notebook describes Hayden's work on the Neoprene project in 1936. The second describes Hayden's activities from 1941 to 1951, including sales, costs and budgets for the Rubber Chemicals Division. There are also a draft of a 1986 oral history interview with Hayden by Raymond C. Ferguson of the Beckman Center for the History of Chemistry, a c.v., and miscellaneous notes and clippings about Hayden.
